New Book

Secrets of an Old Virginia House is just around the corner, so I thought we would talk a little about the book and who will like it.

Do you like romance (clean but still sparks-flying)? You’ll love it.

Do you like history (particularly early American)? You’ll love it.

Do you like moody old houses with secrets? You’ll love it.

Do you like the odd recently-discovered old portrait? You’ll love it.

Do you like a touch of science (specifically DNA studies)? You’ll love it.

Are you interested in seeing a fictional professor navigate social ostracism? You’ll enjoy it.

Basically, as you can tell from this list, the book has a little bit of everything, but I think that it all sings together for a cohesive narrative that will probably be a book you enjoy devouring this summer. And who doesn’t love those? For the synopsis, click here.

If you want to know more about the book, I am going to publish a Q&A shortly after its release. You are welcome to submit questions to me via email on this platform starting now through when the Q&A is run on the blog. You can ask questions about the book, about the writing process, and about related topics you’ve been wondering about. You can ask questions in anticipation of reading or after you’ve had a chance to read (you’ll have to read early if you want to do the latter!). I’ll try to answer them all in the post but obviously reserve the right to choose among the questions received.

Thank you so much for your excitement for this new book!
